Valley Hi Kia: Accelerate the Good Program
At our Kia dealership in Victorville, we are proud to be part of the Kia family and a participant in the trailblazing Kia Accelerate the Good Program. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, the program has taken significant strides in supporting both our local community and nationwide initiatives. We are excited to share the latest updates and accomplishments of the Accelerate the Good Program, showcasing the positive impact Kia continues to make during these challenging times.
Accelerate the Good Program & COVID-19
During the early days of the pandemic, the Accelerate the Good Program focused on providing immediate relief to current and future Kia owners affected by the crisis. This included offering special service programs, loaner vehicles, payment assistance and deferred payment options.
As the pandemic continued, Kia expanded its efforts to broader community-focused initiatives, making a tangible difference in the lives of many. Valley Hi Kia appreciates the importance of education and athletic programs, which is why we are proud to share that Kia helped donate to schools and athletic programs in need during the pandemic.
Additionally, workers at the Kia Georgia plant also assembled over 500,000 face shields for local hospitals, while Kia donated masks and gloves to medical facilities experiencing shortages.
Other Accelerate the Good Program Initiatives
One notable partnership of the Kia Accelerate the Good Program has been with B.R.A.K.E.S., a nonprofit teen driving curriculum dedicated to preventing injuries and saving lives. Motor vehicle crashes are the leading cause of preventable injuries for teenagers in the U.S., and through this collaboration, Kia has provided an entire fleet of vehicles to help B.R.A.K.E.S. expand their program nationwide.
Environmental conservation is another key focus for the Accelerate the Good Program. Kia recently teamed up with Sea Turtle, Inc. to help baby sea turtles find their way home. Additionally, the new Kia Georgia plant has committed to electric vehicle (EV) production, further emphasizing the brand’s dedication to sustainable transportation solutions.
Valley Hi Kia & the Community
Our local community is at the heart of Valley Hi Kia, and we are thrilled to be part of a program that enables us to fund charity events, sponsor local little league teams and more. The Accelerate the Good Program also supports organizations such as Covenant House, a nonprofit providing shelter and support services to homeless youth, and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, a leading pediatric treatment and research facility.
From celebrating Pride Month, AAPI Heritage Month and Women's History Month to distributing coats to those in need through a partnership with One Warm Coat, the Kia Accelerate the Good Program continues to make a difference in countless lives.
